Richard "Dick" Silcock (birth registered April→June 1878 in Wigan district[1] — death registered April→June 1936 (aged 57–58) in Wigan district[2]) was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1900s and coach of the 1920s, who at representative level played for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for Leigh, and Wigan, playing at Second-row, or Loose forward/Lock, i.e. number 11 or 12, or 13, during the era of contested scrums, and at club level coached for Castleford.
At the end of the 1908–09 Northern Rugby Football Union season Silcock played at second-row forward in Wigan's victory over Oldham in the Championship Final.[3]
Silcock, won a cap for England while at Leigh in 1906 against Other Nations, and won a cap for Great Britain while at Wigan in 1909 against Australia.[4]
